Paul encourages Timothy to make prayers, petitions, and intercessions, and prayers of faith for all people. Pray that the people can live peaceful and quiet lives in a godly and reverent way. Prayers are good and pleasing to God. He wants all people to be saved and learn the truth. There is one God and one mediator between God and the humans, a human named Jesus. He sacrificed Himself to free us from our sins. This message is true always. Paul was appointed to share the truth with people who are not Jewish. He tells the truth. People everywhere should offer up prayers on every occasion. Women should dress appropriately because they show their true beauty by what they do, not what they wear.
